Legal mortgage fee

Fee charged by the solicitors acting for the lender in creating their legal charge over the property, this is not common as most lenders are happy to allow your solicitor to act on their behalf as well but if your solicitor was unacceptable to the lender they always reserve the right to instruct their own and apply that charge to you the borrower.
