CML Council of Mortgage Lenders

The Council of Mortgage Lenders an association of all the mortgage lenders in the United Kingdom set up by the lenders themselves to try and self police the industry and implement a good working practice to benefit borrowers.

In addition to a code that the lenders follow the CML are also responsible for producing various booklets on buying property aiming to educate borrowers and ultimately protect them through greater knowledge.
