Completion date

This is the day on which all the process of buying a property comes to fruition. The day on which you will formally own the property and will be given the keys this is also the date on which all the money for the transfer of the property is now due.

In the case of a purchase, the purchasers should not be allowed to take occupation until after completion has taken place this is when the keys are normally released to the purchaser by the estate agents.
